The Almondell

We all went on a lovely walk to the Almondell this afternoon. It's the first time I've been there in ages! We had to go on a modified route because of Nathan's buggy, which meant we were by the water most of the time. I got so excited that I spent most of my time running in the water where it was too shallow to swim.

We stopped at our usual spot and Dad through lots of sticks for me to swim and catch. I was getting really good at it and by the end I had 3 sticks in my mouth! Mum then took me to the other side of the river so I could swim across it. I just love swimming :o)

They forgot to take the camera out of the car so there are no action photos of me, just one when we got home with me looking a bit wet and bedraggled - I can't wait to go back there.

Cuddles with Laura

Laura came round last night... I think she really came to see Nathan, but I don't mind. With all the extra visitors we get these days, I usually get some attention.

There was however some misunderstanding... she tapped her leg and called my name - I obliged by jumping on her lap.

I don't think that she was expecting my spring-like tendencies and collapsed back into the sofa.

In retrospect, I was lucky to get away with it! Everybody laughed and Nathan's giggling took the heat from the situation.

Sunday walks

It lived up to expecation!

We spent a very exciting afternoon playing in the Hermitage of Braid in the middle of Edinburgh. There was me and Cara, Mum and Dad who brought Nathan, and Ali and Jamie who came with Cara.

We had great fun running after anything that moved and playing in the water. Dad and Jamie seemed very keen to throw sticks for us both to chase and wanted to make us do as much running as possible. They also seemed very keen on getting photos; which means I can post them here.

Then it was back to the Grandparents for some chasing around in the garden.

All in all, a pretty perfect Sunday.

The fairer sex

Word is that we'll be heading out for a "walk" (which is never anything like walking) tomorrw with my favorite dog-pal - Cara. She's the same age as me and we pretty much spend our time play-fighting... but running after each other all around the Hermitage of Braid will be a cool way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

No doubt, we'll be heading back to the Grandparents afterwards which means endless fun in the garden.
